Meeting The Dean of University of Florida
With any business concept, one of the greatest indicators for success is whether or not a team can sell themselves and their company. Steve Jobs at Apple is the perfect example of a man who had a vision, but understood the necessary steps to achieve success. He could sell himself and was able to sell the company that he was building. This hold true in any organization, even one ran by two University of Florida students.
Stop Playin’ Meets the Dean
Today we were lucky enough to take our start-up business and bring it to a larger scale. By visiting the Dean of Students for University of Florida, we were able to express our business ideals and strategize about further building our community. We discussed our public relations stunt, which will be taking this week on UF’s campus, which will certainly drive even more traffic to our company’s website. Obviously, we are hoping to build Gainesville’s premier drinking community, but on the flip side, we still get s**t done. That is part of the mantra of Stop Playin'.
All in all, take this post as a lesson. To party hard, you have to grind hard and take care of business. We can’t wait to see you all at the tab on April 24th at Midtown.
Stop Playin!
